The six-part series will accompany students throughout the exam period with classical music to promote concentration as well as revision and relaxation advice, every Sunday evening from 9 p.m.

As students across the UK prepare to take in-person exams for the first time in two years, Classic FM has partnered with the UK’s largest online student community, The Student Room, to present Classic FM review time every Sunday night from 9-10 p.m.

For six weeks from Sunday 8 May, a line-up of guest presenters will share their own experiences with school and exams, with practical tips and advice on how to negotiate the exam period alongside classical music perfect to help relax the mind and aid concentration.

The lineup includes singer-songwriter Ella Henderson, who will be joined by other famous faces, including UK Ambassador for Youth Mental Health Dr Alex George.

Throughout the series, additional support and help for students will be available through Classic FM’s website and social media channels, provided by The Student Room.

The Classic FM review hour also sees Dr Alex George return to Classic FM, after his popular Inner harmony series in January, with more names to be announced.

Classic FM editor Philip Noyce said: “Every year during exam season, students tell us how much classical music helps them focus and stay calm.

“With over 650,000 under 25 now listening to Classic FM every week and students returning to take their exams in person for the first time in two years, it’s great to be able to partner with The Student Room to Classic FM Review Time.

“We know exams can be a stressful and nerve-wracking time for many, so with the help of our guest presenters we have created a series that we hope will support, encourage and relax students at over the next few weeks.”

Joe Woodcock, Head of Student Engagement at The Student Room, said: “As the UK’s largest online student community, we know this is an exceptionally difficult time to be a student. The past two years have brought unprecedented disruption to schools and colleges – and these disruptions can only add to the stress imposed on those taking exams this summer.

“The Student Room’s partnership with Classic FM will help provide a haven for students. In a unique way, the series brings together classical music, to promote relaxation and focus, with tips and tricks from some of our study experts. Review is all about balance and we think everyone could benefit from giving themselves an hour each Sunday to listen to Classic FM’s review hour.
