Worthing Xoe-B singer-songwriter named national Latin dance champion
Zoe-Beth Hobbs, 21, has lived in Broadwater since she was a year old and after working for the NHS she is now a musician, songwriter and educator, under the stage name Xoe-B.
Zoe-Beth said, âI am extremely proud of this achievement. Competing regionally for a place in the national final is something every young ballroom dancer and Latin dancer strives to achieve, but dreaming of winning the national final is quite another thing altogether.
âI’m still in shock that I was able to do this, especially in Latin because, in general, I’m stronger in the ballroom.

âI couldn’t have done this without my teacher at the Hove Dance Center, Jake Hooker, who pushed me beyond my own expectations and never failed to believe in me. I owe him everything.
Zoe-Beth competed at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool and to qualify she had to have reached a regional final in the same year.
She was ranked first in Latin solo, dancing a samba, and second in salon solo, having danced a foxtrot.
Zoe-Beth also competed in the under-40 couples with 16-year-old Sienna Ellman-Baker of Lancing and they were placed second in ballroom and Latin, having performed a quickstep and rumba.
Singer-songwriter Zoe-Beth has a new single called Life In Color, available on all major streaming platforms.
